URGENT MESSAGE FROM YOUR CARE TEAM AT LEXINGTON FAMILY PHYSICIANS REGARDING OFFICE OPERATIONS AND CONTINUED CARE THROUGH OUT THIS NATIONAL PANDEMIC

The COVID-19 pandemic is truly without comparison. Lexington Family Physicians remains committed to caring for the patients that have placed their trust in us. To keep everyone as safe as possible, we now have three care path options:

  • Traditional In-person visit
  • Video Visit
  • Telephone Care

Our Providers will review their schedules to decide on the most appropriate path for your visit. Anticipate a call from our office instructing you with what we think is the safest visit type at that time. If you call with questions or problems, it is our continued promise to care for you. The conversation will be different than in the past because we will be determining the safest way to address your issue and learning what your computer or phone capabilities are. If a Video Visit is determined to be the safest way to care for you, it would require the use of a compatible smart phone/lap top or personal desk top computer with a webcam. Compatible supported devices are:

  • Samsung: Galaxy s7 and up
  • One Plus 3t and up
  • Google: Pixel 3+
  • Apple Iphone 7+ and up

Compatible supported Browsers are:

  • Chrome: Windows, Mac, and Android
  • Firefox: Windows, Mac and Android
  • Safari: IOS 11+ and Mac OS 10.10+

Not supported:

  • Amazon Fire Tablets
  • IOS10 or Below
  • iPhone 6 and below
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Edge

If the patient needs to come to the doctor’s office, we will provide instructions on how to make this as safe as possible. These instructions will include:

  1. Screening will be performed at the front door. You will have your temperature taken and symptoms reviewed.
  2. You will be directed to a waiting area that is appropriate for your needs.
  3. We are making every attempt to maintain safe area for all patients.
  4. We ask that you limit visitors/ family members with you to essential care givers.

Please stay safe and we look forward to continuing to care for you.
