Feel free to call us during office hours. The office will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. We close the office daily from 12:00 to 1:00 PM for lunch.

In an effort to reduce the amount of time you spend in our waiting room, all patient visits are by appointment. We do keep some appointments open for same day scheduling to accommodate emergencies and the scheduling needs of our patients (occasional unexpected visit for our patients). Emergencies, during office hours, will be seen on a immediate basis. We ask that you call our office during these hours to make an appointment. The duration of the appointment will be determined by the nature of the illness. If you are scheduling an appointment for routine physicals, pap smears or health maintenance, we encourage you to schedule these appointments well in advance.Obviously, illnesses can arise suddenly and we will make every effort to schedule an appointment for you as soon as possible. We will also attempt to schedule you with your practitioner. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please call our office 24 hours in advance. This is a courtesy we expect from you and is a courtesy to other patients. It is our goal to see you at your scheduled time, we ask that you be prompt since we are concerned about you. Our receptionists' have been trained to carefully screen all calls and allot ample time for your office visit. Proper dress is required, including shirts and shoes.

Minor emergencies can be seen in the office during office hours. If you have an emergency that occurs after hours, please call the Wake Forest Baptist Health Lexington Medical Center operator at 716-7816 and ask to speak with the Lexington Family Physicians' doctor on call. This possibly saves you the expense of an Emergency Room visit.

You may also request a refill by using our Secure Patient Portal, you may register by clicking PATIENT PORTAL on the menu bar. We use an electronic prescribing system that will allow your prescriptions to be sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice.
